MAAC 2026 Presentation and Session Abstract Submission

MIDDLE ATLANTIC ARCHAEOLOGICAL CONFERENCE

2026 CALL FOR PAPERS

The Middle Atlantic Archaeological Conference is pleased to accept paper, poster, and panel proposals for the 56th annual meeting held in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, March 11 through March 15. We invite researchers to submit abstracts on any topic related to archaeology in the mid-Atlantic United States. Thematic sessions and student submissions are especially welcome.

Guidelines

1. Senior authors, workshop presenters, and panelists must be members of MAAC for 2026 and also must pay registration fees for MAAC 2026.
2. Registration fees and membership dues or proof of current membership for ALL presenters are due on December 15th, 2025. Membership dues and conference registration must be paid electronically via links at https://middleatlanticarchaeology.org
3. An individual can be the primary author on only one paper or poster but may be a co-author on other papers or posters.
4. Abstracts are no more than 150 words. Presentations are 20 minutes and will be in person.

Submission Information

The paper, poster, and/or panel title and abstract submission page will be active from October 15th to December 15th. Presenters must also pay registration and membership fees by the December 15th deadline.
